Louis is a very bold and daring mon that can't sit still for long. He's serious and stern to the point of being offputting. He doesn't like to trust other mons, mainly due to the fact he's often clueless. Despite all of that, though, he is an understanding mon and will listen to every side of a story.

»History: 

Louis was hatched during the midst of a great storm that was ripping apart his village with each passing second. His parents had been on duty to patrol and help mons in need, not expecting their son to hatch soon. Because he was newly hatched, he had no ability to see auras yet, and that left the baby riolu alone, confused, and in the complete darkness. The tempest raged on, and was more powerful than anticipated. It ripped the hut Louis was in right out of the ground, and sent the jackal sprawling into a hollow tree. He whimpered and cried, for now he was wet, in the darkness, alone, and lost. 

It only took about twenty minutes for Louis to be located and rescued by his mother, who comforted him and repeated 'it'll all be okay, dear' over and over. But what had happened left a mark on young Louis. He was now terrified of both storms and the darkness. The warmth and love radiating from his mother was enough to stop his whimpering, and he eventually fell asleep in her embrace. He continued to be comforted and loved by his parents for many years, and was trained in the way of aura when they moved to a new location: Crelixis.

Along with his new found aura reading ability came a spark of something else - magic. He had discovered this ability within himself when studying his own aura one day, and excitedly went to show his parents. Unfortunately, they didn't care about it or even look at it, because the family had two new arrivals. Two eggs had just hatched, a baby torchic and riolu brought into the world in a much kinder fashion than Louis. His parents began to brush him off to the side, giving their full attention to the littler ones. Louis received less and less attention, but didn't dare utter a word to them about it. He wasn't the type to get jealous, start drama, or voice his opinions when the only one being negatively harmed was himself. The lack of attention given to him made him into a much quieter mon than before, and he rarely even spoke to his parents unless it was to tell them he'd watch the little ones. Many might feel envious if they were in Louis' place, but he actually loved his siblings to pieces and would never want to get back at them. It wasn't their fault, after all.

When he heard about openings in the Trinity, he jumped on the chance to join, hoping that one day he could get over his wallflower complex and finally be brave enough to shine.
